Demand of power in India is progressively increasing over the years. To meet-up this demand, the Electricity Boards and other Power utilities had to increase their Transmission and Distribution (T & D) network. Though there has been some investments in power generation, but a gap between power are not only incapable of carrying additional power, but also forced to have line losses through lengthy feeders, causing alarming voltage fluctuation at consumer end.
This low/high voltage is applied to all electrical machines like Transformers, Motors etc., hence causing loss in substantial electrical energy, besides damage to the equipments. This compelled is conscious for Conservation of Energy, as Power Tariff is ever increasing.

HT Automatic Voltage Controller is installed on the incoming side of the Transformer and provides stabilized input voltage to the Distribution Transformer. GLOBE'S H.T. Automatic Voltage Controllers are suitable for many varied applications and can be installed either indoor or outdoor.
Globe's H.T. AVC primarily consists of the following

Step Down & Buck / Boost Transformer : Inour Step Down & Buck / Boost Transformer we are using CRGO lamination to Transformer are wound with heavy section of electrolytic copper strips / conductor to minimize copper losses for getting better efficiency of the equipment. The Buck / Boost & Step Down Transformers are housed in same sheet steel tank. Radiators are provided for effective cooling.
Linear, Plus / minus type vertical Voltage Regulator: In our regulator we are using heavy section of electrolytic rectangular copper strips to minimize the losses and increase the efficiency of equipment. We are also using self lubricating Carbon Roller assemblies which offers more reliability and trouble free performance of the equipment. Regulator is housed in separate sheet steel tank. The coils of Voltage Regulator are vaccum impregnated and oven dried as IS.
Electronic Control Circuit. : Globe's HT AVC consists of very simple electronic control circuit for monitoring and controlling voltage, repair & maintenance of which is very easy

The equipment is basically a combination of Standard Distribution Transformer and HT Automatic Voltage Regulator. The Fluctuating Voltage from 'Grid' is initially stabilized by HT AVR and then fed to the transformer resulting in the constant LT output within +- 1% Accuracy.
